MQO Research spoke with 400 residents of New Brunswick to gauge the political temperature in the province for the Winter edition of our quarterly political poll: Atlantic Matters.
According to the latest polling numbers, the federal Liberals have regained the lead in New Brunswick while the Green Party also gained support. Among decided and leaning voters:
“Liberal support has held strong following the 2019 election in which they garnered 37.8% of the popular vote,” said Carolyn O’Keefe, President at MQO Research. “Regionally, the Liberals polled highest in Moncton and Northern New Brunswick while the Conservatives are leading in Fredericton and Saint John.”
The Atlantic Matters poll was conducted by telephone from February 13th to February 24th and included 400 randomly selected eligible voters from across the province. The margin of error for the total sample is ± 4.9 percentage points 19 times out of 20.
